The aims of the House system are:

• To increase the sense of identity and belonging within the tennis club

• To provide an opportunity for players of all ages and abilities to mix and where older junior members can lead activities and act as role models for the younger players. 

• To promote player participation in inter-House competitions and a healthy, friendly rivalry when competing for the various House events and ultimately the "House Cup".

• To encourage high standards in the players training, play and behaviour.

• To follow the club ethos, where our members can be part of an enjoyable sporting atmosphere, enjoying each others company, while seeing the life long benefits being part of Ballymena Lawn Tennis Club can have. This House System creates a positive social environment, while providing opportunities for friendly competition. There are four Houses and members from all the sessions we offer will work together in their House to take part in the various competitions.
