On Saturday we held our annual Christmas tournament.
This year it was entitled “The Festive Mixer”!
22 members were on the courts playing five rounds of matches. There was a mixture of senior members and junior members, with those from our social section mixing with our league players.
Each round consisted of three, 7 point tiebreaks, with a sudden death point at 6:6.
At the end of each round, winners move up a court and losers move down. Players then play with a different partner.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
After the event, members came inside for some light Christmas refreshments.
Well done to David Hamilton who won the event with 94 points and Peter Gamble who finished very close behind in second place with 92 points.

Lewis Millar won the best Christmas Jumper competition.
