Senior Social Event - Festive Mixer (Sign Up and Info)

Date - Saturday 20th December

Time - 11-1:30pm

We are on the look out for “Twenty” Festive players who are interested in getting into the Christmas celebration on Saturday 20th December, there is lots of fun is to be had!

Members can show their festive spirit by wearing a Christmas jumper/outfit (this can also include a hat, tinsel etc).

Don’t worry if you don’t have something festive, you can bring your festive spirit in abundance instead.

Along with the festive attire and spirit we hope to see some equally impressive tennis.

This event is open to a mixture of social and league players who are all in the mood for some festive fun.

We hope to see an abundance of laughter around the courts as everyone gets in the spirit of the event.

🧑‍🎄Xmas Festive Tournament Format 🎄

• This will be a doubles event
• It will consist of 5 rounds
• Each round will consist of “3” 7 point to breaks. All 3 tiebreaks have to be played. There will be a sudden death point if score is 6:6. Players will follow normal tiebreak rules.
• After each match players will give their scores to Barry, who will be keeping the scores. Players will tell Barry the total number of points they won during the match for example 21 if they won all 3 tiebreaks.
• Winners of each round will move up a court and losers move down a court, players will then swap partners after the move.
• There will be a Winner and Runner Up who will receive a small prize

After the event we will go into the sixth form centre for some light Christmas refreshments.

Members attending are asked to bring some nibbles and treats.

Those who can’t attend the tournament are more than welcome to come and have refreshments afterwards.
